Good Photography

I think this photograph is good because your eye travels around the picture so you don't miss anything going in it. Three things I like about this picture is that there are giraffes, my favorite animal :), all of the giraffes are doing something differant and it looks like a real picture, like it's not been messed with in Photoshop. Three things that would make this picture better would be to make sure you can see all of the giraffes heads, it looks like the giraffe on the far right has two heads, and get more of the environment so the viewer can see more of what's going on, and lastly, maybe take it from a diffenant angle to get a better perspective of all the giraffes. I think the things that make a good photograph is to make it so it looks like anybody could've taken it, to make it look as if it hasn't been messed with on Photoshop, and to take pictures of the objects in differant perspectives to choose which one looks better. I think that anyone can be a photographer, but it takes someone who is really passionate about photographing and the objects they are photographing. I think the thing that really "wows" me when i see a great photograph is when I know the place or object that is in the photograph.

Not So Special Thing I Can Do..

This may come to you as a surprise, but as a girl, I know how to do make-up, unlike many boy students that go to my high school.. Not that I would expect them to be able to do their make-up. But, the first thing I do is to wipe off my face, to get rid of any access make-up left on my face. Next, I put my eye shadow, most of the time brown. Then I add my mascara, which takes a whole ten seconds.. Then last but not least, I put my chapstick on. Then I put my chapstick in my pocket before I walk out of my house. I can't go anywhere without it!

New Technology!!

Maybe some new technology that I would like to have would be a Kindle, it may not be new, new but it's new to me. I want a Kindle because I like to read but I am NOT a bookworm. I would take it everywhere with me because it seems like where ever I go I always have extra time and I don't want to just sit there and do nothing, so why not read? I don't think that it would make my life any better but it would be nice to have something to do on my freetime. If the whold purpose of a Kindle is to read books then, yeah I would use it for educational purposes. But, I would not buy our over priced school books!!

My Four Day Weekend!!

Where to start..
The only thing that I did this weekend was eat!! This weekend was a little fun because of my brother and his girlfriend came down from Kalamazoo to help celebrate Thanksgiving. Then on friday, I went to my nieces third birthday party. She was really excited because she got all spiderman toys, weird, I know. Then after that we all had a nice family ping-pong tournament, I absolutley sucked, which I thought was funny, but my partner didn't.

Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving means to me that the whole family gets together and has an awesome time... Every time we have Thanksgiving at our house, usually the whole family doesn't come but we still have an awesome time.  We don't really have special food but we have this awesome dessert that we call "Pink Stuff" it has pineapple, cottage cheese, cool whip, and strawberry jell-o.. It's amazing. In our family, we don't really have a tradition. Also, the reason we celebrate Thanksgiving is to celebrate everybody coming together and celebrating all that you're thankful.

Veterans Day!!

To Be Honest, Veterans Day means a whole lot to me! My grandpa served in the Army when the Vietnam War was going on. We recognize veterans because of all of the brave men and women who are willing to serve the country, which to me means risking their own lives in the process of protecting their own country. I personally would never join the Military mostly because the thought of killing someone makes me sick! I hate to say it, but I've never participated a Veterans Day parade. But maybe in the future, I will!!

Election

If only I could vote.. I would probably vote for Barack Obama! Though Romney has views on some issues that I agree with, he has more issues that I don't agree with! Mitt Romney wants to pretty much take away women's rights and health care screening for cancer, as a part of a family that has a bad history with problems involving cancer, I do not think that Romney has the right to say what we can and can't do with our bodies. Also, with the job rate, I believe that the economy is going up, slowly, but it's still going up. And last but not least, the overplayed commercials about the election are getting really old, and when the elections are over and so are they, I will be the happiest person alive!!

Halloween!!!!!

So, this year I don't think that I am going to trick or treat. My favorite candy bars would be either Snickers or Almond Joy, but I think that once you hit sixteen you shouldn't be getting candy, though everybody loves candy, I'm sure that kids like candy more than the creepy high school kids walking around. I would definitely like to go to a party instead, so then maybe you can hangout with other kids your age.

I think my favorite Halloween costume when i was a kid was when i went as a princess with long, really curly hair. Also, I used to love carving pumpkins, but now I really don't like it. I didn't carve one this year because I didn't really have the time.

I am Perfect... Or am I????

I honestly don't think I'm perfect, sometimes I am mean to people, and other times I'm nice. My problem is that I'm so used to people at school being sarcastic and thinking they are funny, but sometimes they don't know that they can be rude, or even if they're not trying to be rude it comes out like that most of the time, it makes me a little self-concious about what I say at school. I know that sometimes I can be like that too but it's mostly because I don't want anybody saying anything sarcastic to me because that really grinds my gears and gets me even madder than I already was!! But welcome to the life of high school!

What I did this weekend!

This weekend I was sent to my sisters house, full of screaming little girls and screaming men.  I agreed to my sister that I would watch the Walking Dead marathon and the Tigers game when Darek Jeter broke is ankle, YAY! I had never seen the Walking Dead, and I love it! As for the Tigers game, I was kind of disappointed because now all the Yankee fans are just going to say that the only reason the Tigers won is because Jeter is out for the rest of the Postseason.

Fall

To be honest, I love the colors in the fall!! Looking at the trees is my favorite thing about the fall, I didn't take any pictures but I sure did get a good look at them. Durring the fall I like building leaf houses with my nieces.You build a leaf house by just outlining the walls and doors of a house to pretend that you have your own giant house. I think my favorite fall food would have to be a tight race between pumpkin pie or pumpkin seeds. I like helping my nieces carve pumpkins durring the fall, I'm glad that i don't have to carve pumpkins all by myself because I absolutely have having to put my hands inside with all the masty mush and I hate cleaning that giant mess up!!

Spirit Week!!!!!!!!!!!

On only two weeks of the school year, us students are blessed to have Spirit Week. I dress up for every day unless it is absolutely stupid. I think it is cool that the teachers dress up like the rest of the students, speaking of which I think Mr. Disbrow is looking extra good today wearing his Detroit Tigers Jersey:) Just saying. Durring the Assembly, I usually participate because it's A PEP ASSEMBLY!! I think the best part about our pep assemblies are when the football players dance or do some kind of race. The Teachers, of course I think that they should be more involved in the assembly, they should all do something crazy so that all the students will remember that assembly for the rest of their lives.
When it comes to our float being built, I don't help, only because if  I have to dress up and participate in the assembly, I don't think that is neccessary. That's all the school spirit I have.

My not so exciting weekend!!!

This weekend i didn't do too much,
I sat at home on Friday night waiting for anybody who wanted to hangout. So, I hung out with my buddy Heather and went into Adrian, which was boring as poop.
Then Saturday i stayed home and did my homework. That night, I had to go to my sisters house to watch her two youngest daughter so that her, her husband, and her two oldest daughters went to a Detroit Tigers game.. Having to watch my sister's two youngest children, makes me not want to have kids, ever, EVER!
